Looks good nico! What the overall length with the muzzle brake welded on? And how much did he charge you to weld everything including the sights? Im finally getting my S12 where I want it, but the muzzle device is the only thing left to handle. Also range report on the Brake?

looking good!!!!!!!!!

I took my saiga out for the first time since getting the barrel chopped, tromix monster brake welded on and hk sights installed and it was awesome. I ran slugs and 00 magnum buckshot muzzle rise was very little and the recoil was not bad at all, it was enough that my tromix charging handle fell off. with the shortened barrel it will not cycle birdshot even on setting 2. if you dont mind spending the $165 pick up a tromix monster brake.

wow i didn't even think of this. do you think it is the length alone is causing this or the combination of monster brake and length? i wanted to chop my barrel and slap on the ak74 dinzag brake but i don't want to now. all i shot is birdshot lol

getting rid of the sporting config by moving the trigger group forward and adding a pistol grip and ak stock

I think its from shortening the barrel. I'm gonna look in to opening up the gas ports and see if that helps

"Sporting purposes" BS. They're imported as a shotgun recognized as sporting by the ATF.

And no, it's not a difficult process.

Are you running a CSS or MD puck??? Highly recommend it, 20 bucks is worth a shot.

I'm using the factory Puck in it... Will changing it out help to run birdshot?

chozenfew805 12-11-2011 3:18 AM

Sweet looking S12!

Sac-AR15 12-11-2011 3:26 AM

Very nice. One of these days I'll buy one when the price is right.

Its worth a shot Nico. The only thing i have done to my gas system is the CSS puck and I can run the cheap walmart stuff all day long.
