(SOLD) Factory-new .308BR (Bench Rest) brass, SF East Bay
I have an extra 500 pieces of factory-new .308BR brass. While basically .308 brass with a small primer pocket it is specifically designed and annealed for reforming to other/wildcat cartridges.Asking $50/100 or $225 for the whole lot.Pick up in Walnut Creek or meet up at Richmond Rod & Gun or will ship for cost.

Is this Remington URBR brass in a green and orange box?

JC Smith 09-21-2017 5:20 PM

No, it's bulk packed in a heavy plastic bag.

you might get better results if you called it what is was. 308 Palma

Thanks, but I never heard it called that. The headstamp sez "R-P BR REM" and when purchased it was called Remington .308 BR.

Does it look like the terrible pictures? And if you shine a light around the inside of the case does the primer pocket look like a moat or island?
Or is it all smooth and has the capacity of a regular case?
It was not called Palma brass until Lapua brought out there own version around 2010.
If you look at the corner of the box it says URBR.
The biggest difference besides the small primer is the case has more capacity because there is no brass around the primer pocket on the inside of the case.

Here are a couple pictures, inside and out. I can't figure out how to get them to display in the body of the post but they are attached.

Is this 30 BR or .308 Winchester ?

JC Smith 12-15-2017 10:19 AM

It is .308 BR Rem as shown in the pictures. Basically the .308 BR is a .308 Win case with a small primer pocket and special annealing making it ideal for reforming.
