Photo skills aren't close to yours, but I've had it within reach virtually 24/7 for 9+ years. 357 mag. Not a pleasurable shooting experience, but will get the job done.

Many are six shooters, the first and third I posted above both hold six. S&W makes a handful of 7 and 8 shot .357 snub nosed revolvers as well.

MotoJB 03-26-2012 6:25 PM

Mine...

• S&W 637 Airlight 38 Special
• S&W 66-6 357 Magnum (:43: the evil model )

"Grammar Nazi"

A captious individual who cannot resist the urge to correct a spelling and/or grammar mistake even in informal settings. After pointing out the linguistic shortcomings in others, a Grammar Nazi feels a strange sense of twisted and unconstructive intelligentsia delight.

In reality, they are making someone else feel bad for no reason and unintentionally implying that their "superior" grammar skills are all they have to show for a wasted liberal arts education.

While proper grammar usage is all well and good, a Grammar Nazi cavils even insignificant errors in English to somehow win an argument. Of course, rather than being genuinely persuasive in an argument, pointing out English errors is a weak attack only on the typist's credibility and never has any bearing on the underlying premises and assertions therein.

In other words, this is simply a disguised ad hominem argument which intelligent and logical people disregard.

Still, one should strive to spell and use words properly, but arrogant and unsolicited advice is not a very persuasive way to teach English.

In addition, it's very annoying to the others on public forums.

We're starting to look like inbred redneck trailer trash in these forums. It's annoying you say? Annoying is seeing that some people have guns who don't even understand 5th grade grammar. If I can stop one person from looking like a complete idiot for the ridiculous overuse of apostrophes I am doing them quite the favor in the long run.

Aircraftman 03-26-2012 9:11 PM

Where are the Colts!!!

OK this is not a great picture, a little to busy, but its 4 generations of Colts.

1950's Cobra (really not a snubbie, LNIB with Coltwood stocks)
1960's Agent (NIB - one of my better ones)
1970's Cobra (nickel)
1980's Agent (parkerized during skrike years)

How does it feel to shoot a .357 snubby? I've never shot one before, kinda curious now.

Let's just say my wrists won't allow me to put as many rounds through it as I really want to every time I take it out, and I won't let my wife shoot it because I'd be too nervous. I also know I'd be hating life for a bit if I shot it without wearing ear muffs. But I will say I would feel damn confident if I had to draw it against a would be attacker.

thomascrowe 03-28-2012 6:47 PM

I see...my tendonitis probably will prevent shooting it from being enjoyable. I gotta try it at least once to say I shot one. :p

TXDARKHORSE361 03-29-2012 4:03 PM

As long as you can keep a firm grip on it you should be fine shooting a couple of rounds, I don't have tendonitis but I do have a reoccurring pain in my wrist that didn't seem to be affected by it.
