HIPAA compliant email hosting
does anyone know if Microsoft hosts HIPAA compliant email services in the cloud (not talking about outlook 365) someone mentioned that microsoft uses
Voltage to do this. not sure if it is true or not. if anyone knows the name of Microsofts service or any other service to provided end-to-end encryption for HIPAA i greatly appreciate it. hardware or software or service thanks!!!! john |

You could pretty easily use Microsoft IRM to do that if you wanted to have your Exchange server(s) on-premise. A number of other solutions as well. However, the state of CA uses Office 365, including their HIPAA regulated content. It's encrypted "at rest" which is the requirement for most all types of data.
