Handgun suggestions for my wife

What are the ladies with small hands liking to shoot ? She has shot a Glock34 9mm , Didnt like it! A Ruger mark 2 22lr semi auto , Didnt like it! S%W M&P 45 , Didnt like it! S&W 357 with 38's , Liked it!!! She wouldnt shoot my 44 magnum! Springfield xd 40, Liked it!!! She liked the frame and trigger pull on the XD-40 ( i hear the 9mm is the same frame). She shot a Remington single shot bolt action 22 lr and didnt like the action (to stiff) , she shot a friends M4 colt and liked it!!!Any others she hasnt shot we should look at? She shot my 12 gauge and found it to long to shoulder , but she shot it ok! She wants a hand gun , a shot gun and a rifle, any help is greatly appreciated!!!!

Whatever they like to shoot. There is no "right fit" for anyone regardless of hand size. If she like the XD 40(I do but I also have the XD9 Sub which is on my CCW along with another 9mm) then let her buy that one. It's hard to say what someone like to shoot would be good for someone else. Everyone is different. Why do you think there are like 80 types of women's underwear categories and like 3 categories for men? Lightbulb!

LOL Unfortunaly she cant try every gun out there! I have heard alot of women talk highly about KAHR. Im trying to find an XD 9 for her , but its hard!! Things are flying of the shelves here in Cal. Thought maybe if there was something simular i could expand my search.

I hear ya' on the guns being hard to get now. Pretty much everything is back-ordered. I bought my XD after learning on the Nazi gun(The Ruger) and the XD 40(both full and sub) but I shoot a lot so the XD9 made more sense moneywise but I also have a Sig P239. I love that gun but my main carry is my XD.

She likes the semi auto better! Since she wants a handgun , shotgun and rifle we cant afford 2 handguns!

Then you're not doing it right... :D Totally joking, just in case someone thinks I'm not.

My gf owns a .22LR Buckmark with rosewood handle and likes it a lot, but LOVES shooting my Kimber Stainless II 1911. She now wants a 1911 with a 4" barrel for her next handgun.

Its what is best for her. Everybody has their favorites. My hand gun list is a beretta 92fs compact type m, sig p226 enhanced elite, hk p2000sk, m&p 9, fn 5.7, s&w 686 talon. For rifles a Barrett rec 7, and m1a loaded. I love to shoot my husbands 1911, had a kimber 1911 in 9mm, loved it, but it had too many issues. I don't think you can ever go wrong with a 1911.

2 inch 38 Special

Safe and intuitive.

I have really small hands, and I love the Sig 239 9mm and the HK p2000 in the 9mm.

I like the single stack of the sig, it makes the grip thinner and easier for me to handle.

For me when I just got into shooting I knew I was going to have issues with recoil. So as my first gun I picked a CZ75 in 9mm because the recoil was much much lighter (the heavier metal frame absorbed much of the recoil), and I liked the heavier gun feel. I always favor my friend's S&W 686 just because of the weight.

I can now shoot a little more decently and have added a Glock 19 to the mix, but I am still glad I went the route I did. Anyone that comes out shooting with us gets to shoot the CZ75 before they get the Glock to shoot.
