I used to have handicraft business in the Philippines and made a lot of items made from water buffalo horns the main complain received from customer was the shrinkage of horn as it ages.If you can provide or guarranty this material use will not deform or shrink as it age then I might be interested to distribute this here.Let me know.pm to reach me.

You seen serious problem:
Horn will shrink or deform depending on the part which you use! They have cheaper prices because they not use tip horn--the hollow part of horn will shrink or deform! Because they press it to big part and produce grips!

1.Your items buy form Philippines made from don't use tip.
2.My grips produce as correct every detail, special in two hole!It will not shrink or deform!

That is beautiful work. I really like the black horn models with veining.

jmlivingston 03-17-2007 4:17 PM

I wonder if there's any concerns about these from a perspective of importing animal parts? Hope not, some of those are just beautiful, my favorite are the marbled ones. Too bad I don't have a 1911 to put them on.

Would you be interested in having them laser engraved? I'm associated with a business that does small run laser engraving. You can contact me and I will pass on your information if you are interested.

Your grips and materials are very beautiful!

Good 'ol Abalone shells.

I have several of these setting in storage.

A former instructor of mine goes diving for these every year, eats the meat and puts the shells on his shed roof for decoration.

Those look sanded/sand-blased or grinded to bring out their color!

I have a Llama .45 (1911 Design) I would like to talk to you about getting some grips for it. I would like a design in them.

PM me and so we can talk!

Excellent work!
