Ranges that rent CZ?

Anyone know of any ranges that rent CZ? I live in Sac and would prefer to stay as close to the area as possible. Thanks!

dynamomark80 01-03-2013 9:29 AM

i havent seen any CZ in a rental case

m2oore 01-03-2013 10:21 AM

I have rented a CZ 75 from Shooters Paradise in Oxnard, CA. Also, IslandView in Ventura has both the CZ 75b in 9 and 40 http://www.islandviewent.com/rental-guns/

Loved the feel of the handgun and it shot really well. Only problem was its near impossible to find.

Know its not local just reporting in. =)

echopapa 01-03-2013 11:52 AM

I rented a CZ 75b in Vacaville (Center Mass Shooting Range). Pretty sweet!

akuma23 01-03-2013 12:07 PM

The closest I've seen near sac would be the shooting range in milpitas. cz 75b in 9mm and the sp01 in 9mm

Getssum96 01-03-2013 12:36 PM

Confirmed with the CZ 75 B at Center Mass, Vacaville, I've shot it myself, nice gun!

PjstoL 01-03-2013 9:02 PM

Thanks fellas! Vacaville is the closest to me, so I'll prob stop by there sometime. Although I'm almost giving up on the CZ 75 since they can't be found anywhere. I think I picked the worst time to buy a first pistol.

I called Triple A in Vallejo and they had the 75BD (9mm) in stock a few days ago...

Gun room has a CZ75B in .40 but I believe it's out of service

m2oore 01-07-2013 10:26 AM

This site tends to get stock in frequently. Just need to be on top of them to see when they get new shipments in.

PjstoL 01-07-2013 11:45 AM

Thanks for the heads up!

N23 02-01-2013 5:03 PM

Are you looking to buy or just shoot one?

PjstoL 02-01-2013 11:37 PM

I've narrowed my choice down to that gun, and if it feels good when I shoot it that will be what I'll buy. I'd just like to try it before I make the investment.

dynamomark80 02-02-2013 12:02 AM

I could probably get a CZ 75db in 9mm from my brother for you to try. I sold it to him a while back but he never shoots it. I dont think he would mind if someone took it for a spin while I had it at the range. When I borrow it he just makes me clean it after use since he never cleans it. To be honest with the Hogue grips I am in aw to handle it. It was the first of countless handguns I handled that felt really nice in the hand. Just a nice handgun to say the least.

I live in Sacto. so maybe we can arrange a meet.

PjstoL 02-02-2013 7:43 AM

That would be awesome, especially since I'm looking to buy in 9mm.

Thanks a lot! I'll PM you and we'll touch bases.

N23 02-04-2013 9:07 AM

I'm in SAC and have a few you can try out. Hard to shoot since it is an expensive hobby to begin with but always fun to shoot with others. I can probably learn a thing or two.

PjstoL 02-04-2013 9:17 AM

I'm new to the shooting game (shot as a kid but started again late last year) so you won't be learning anything from me haha

N23 02-04-2013 9:39 AM

No worries. Just bounce me a PM or post up and we can meet at a range.

PjstoL 02-04-2013 10:06 AM

Just saw your profile maybe hit some tennis balls too? I really need to start playing again.

N23 02-04-2013 11:23 AM

Oh ya. Let's go. Bring your sticks and ammo. :)

N23 02-05-2013 3:25 PM

What range are you local to?

PjstoL 02-05-2013 4:43 PM

The Gun Range is the closest to where I am.

Tried to PM you back but says you've chosen not to receive PMs?

N23 02-08-2013 7:00 AM

Sorry about that. Thought I had all the options checked. Anyhow, what's your schedule look like. Are you free during the weekdays as well? This weekend is tough, got some honey-do's to take care of, but can meet weeknights if you're free.

echopapa 02-08-2013 12:33 PM

OP - I'm a new shooter myself - picking up a CZ 75 SP-01 next week. Happy to let you try to (along with my other guns). Also near The Gun Range.

N23 02-08-2013 3:25 PM

Sweet! Let's head out. Gotta get some 9mm ammo though. Hopefully I can find some not too pricey.

Congrats on your find! They're hard to come across. Did you buy locally or SSE online? I was going to give up on the SP01 and just get the 75b.

My days off are usually Sunday and Tuesday. Other than that I work nights. (Bartender) Tuesday is usually when I get my honey-do's in haha. I'm in no rush, let's just keep each other posted on here when a good day is. I have to track down some 22lr, only place I've found sold federal bricks for 38 a pop.

Sweet. Maybe all three of us can meet up at the Gun Range and have show and tell. :)

PjstoL 02-09-2013 2:54 PM

I don't have much to show, just a p22 haha

your p22 shots and is cheaper then my .45

let me know when you guys plan to go

N23 02-10-2013 12:59 AM

I went by the gun range Saturday around 5-6pm. The wait was 30 minutes to get a lane. Ouch but then it is the weekend. I saw a P01 for sale there for $559.

Hmm, didn't know they sold CZ! Not a bad price either. Yeah I went on a Sunday once, never again. I think I waited 45 min to get a lane. Should have went to the other range instead that day (Haggin Oaks haha)

N23 02-10-2013 9:13 AM

I can do Haggin Oaks. Days are getting longer so can do that too. Range balls are cheaper than bullets.

The have/had a PX4 Storm for $509 which is the cheapest I've seen.

N23 02-19-2013 7:47 AM

What's y'all schedule looking like?

PjstoL 02-23-2013 2:31 PM

Sorry been off the forums for a few days. I'm booked up this week and going out of town for the weekend. Probably wont be able to meet up for a while. I'll keep you posted though

echopapa 02-25-2013 6:59 AM

Sorry - been so busy with work - haven't checked this thread in a while...

PjstoL - I got my SP-01 via PPT. I just got lucky on the marketplace. I still haven't shot it yet!!

N23 - Only got 22 and 9mms for show and tell, but I have a few =P I probably won't be free until a few weeks if ya all want to meet up.

N23 02-25-2013 9:27 AM

That's cool everyone. Still trying to source some ammo. Especially since I'd plan to shoot a few rounds downrange. Congrats on the SP01. I have a P01 and a 75BD so it sounds like all we need is to locate some 9mm to fire.

We'll find a day to head over.

XCaligulaX 03-01-2013 3:58 PM

I saw a few CZ75's at Triple A's down in Vallejo on Tuesday. No telling if they're still there or not. I was in the same boat as you, I had my heart set on a CZ75 for at least a month and a half before I just broke down and found a CZ75BD on gunbroker for $530 with shipping. Takes a lot longer for everything to happen through gunbroker but at least my search was over.

Vallejo might be a bit of a drive for you, but I would try giving them a call and see if they can hold one for you if they still have some in stock. All the guys I talked to down there were extremely helpful.
