BTW, do you need that orange shell follower?

Nismo 12-27-2006 7:21 PM

I do right now until I get my wilson combat tube. It came with my choate +3 tube.

Here's my Supermag project as of today. Knoxx Specops stock, 18 3/4" VR barrel. This whole project was centered on the awesome 3.5" 18-pellet 00Buck load. It certainly is an awesome stopper either on man or beast. Next move may be a extended mag. It will need a different fore end too. I think no optics on this one. Simple is better. Even with the Knoxx recoil reducing stock, it still packs a punch.

VeryCoolCat 12-27-2006 8:57 PM

FN TPS w/ Side Saddle, Foreward Grip, Telestock.

Interstate (I've been told its actually Norinco under a different import name) 12 Ga Stagecoach, Take-Down, Exposed Hammer, Double Safety SxS

Ain't shotties cool? Well, I know, all guns are cool, but shotguns are so versatile, available, legal, and effective that ya gotta love 'em. I think my next project will be a super slug gun.

Nismo 12-27-2006 9:24 PM

Yep. I like the fact that you can go hunt from deer to bird almost instantly. Not that I hunt but its a great survival tool.

I just realized I haven't given my HK/Fabarm Tactical any love lately...So here she is with a few of her siblings....

Here's my Mossy 500. I like shooting clays with it. Actually, I like seeing the reactions of people that see me shoot clays (accurately) with it. A typical reaction goes like " You can shoot clays with that thing  ???"

Sure do. I put about 100rds/week through my riotguns, but I can't shoot them and take pics at the same time.

By the way, I have really enjoyed your sporting clays course reviews on your web-site.

Nicely done, and thanks :)

What's your camera model and what sort of settings did you use? The photo looks a little washed out. I don't think resolution is your problem, I think it's going to be the lighting and the camera settings.

It's a Canon S230 3MP. The lighting was just natural light with a window open in my apartment. I just used the standard settings with no flash. Thanks for any suggestions.

It came to me as a messy pile of rust. After checking gun values ($95 in perfect condition), I decided to attempt a restore. Six hours of stripping and cold bluing, this is the result. It's one of the first gunsmithing projects I attempted, and I'm still proud of the results. Some day, I may even sandblast and parkerize it.
