Those LEHR stubs have a cut right through the middle of the threads since they came from E German cutaways. Did you reweld and tap the hole?

You are correct, you can just hardly make out the cut in the first pic of the stub.

I had to tailor the front of the stub to match the barrel, I stabilized the stub then torqued the barrtel to it, headspaced it to the bulgarian bolt and just welded it up.

Nice. I only know because I have one. I have aT3 MPIK kit being rewelded by turbothis. I can't wait to get it. It took me forever to find a non LEHR stub

It took a little over a year to piece it together. I dont have pics buy ill be posting them up when i get it back. If i decide to sell the LEHR front I'll let you know.

One came with my kit they are just a pain to put in, good looking out, thats why I love this site

Yes I am, my rewelds were always pretty rough but still ran, nicroshi gave me a few pointers that did the trick. I will throw up some pics of the inside when I get a chance

I just received m polish under folder kit today from whatacountry.com. all parts included, plus mag pouch cleaning kit and sling. the kit is in great shape.
it did come in a crest toothpaste carton though lol. will build it the first of next month. cannot hardly wait. will be the first of three build that i am doing.
