I voted for Yes - after reforms, only because there is no real entry for our options as a life member. It was the best option to provide my thoughts as to what the BoD needs to pay attention to.
|
Can't see the poll on my iPod, but I'm not renewing until they get their stuff straight, so to speak. Even then I can't say for sure that I'll renew. I almost think that we need a fresh start with a new organization.
|
I voted yes after reforms, but what I'd really like to say is yes, if needed reforms are made.
|
bump for votes please.
|
I will contribute MORE $$ only after the reforms and they get Gene and Brett back on the board.

I think I donated $100 to CGF so far this year. Will donate some more once I'm done with taxes - my goal is to donate to CGF 5% of my firearms budget.
I'm still on the fence when it comes to the CRPA. |
I rejoined so I could ask for stuff and vote. My renewal and continued support hinges on CRPA leadership doing the right thing. $22 gave me skin in the game. Time for CRPA to prove its worth.
|
Hey! I already voted!
Regarding CRPA - as a 4-month long member, I will not be renewing until I see some goodwill and some serious changes. This is not the group I thought I was joining. |
I am a member now but will not be renewing after this recent drama.
|
I have been a member for over 35 years. CRPA is now superfluous so I will not be renewing. My wife is also a member, she has decided not to renew. We will continue to donate to NRA, Calguns and CRPA Foundation.
|
If you're not a member, how are you ever going to be able to vote Gene & Brett back onto the board???
. |
I joined sometime ago and couldn't figure out what they were trying to do. Not interested. With that said, they seem to me to be ineffective.
|
Probably. I think I want another Garand.

I've known of CRPA all my life basically. My dad was a member in the 60' onward, I was a member 30 yrs ago and rejoined 2+ yrs ago. But honestly, they can do much better, way better. Now is the time to become a true one stop shop for gun owners. Civil Rights and silhouettes. 2A needs help to advance, the iron is hot now. Who else better to be one of the ones in the forefront than a 100 yr + organization? So I will wait and see if they make the required changes. If not, I'll put my dollars elsewhere.

Im a member. Have no clue of what drama is going on. I will continue to be a member
I have made my first donation to cgn and cgf since receiving my ccw from Sacramento county . This website gave me clear direction on process and cgf seems to press legally where it works the most effective . |
IMO, there should only be one central focus of any gun group in CA - that is to keep and bear arms.
Cuz, in my mind - war has been declared to permanently remove all guns. The basic goal for any organization? Every law abiding citizen should be able to walk into the sheriffs office and walk out with their permit - EXACTLY the way its done in the DMV. Don't waste my time or money with anything else. |
Why is this Poll and this topic allowed to stay in the 2A forum, when there is a CRPA forum? The mods have no reservations about moving relevent 2A topics to the off-topic if they don't like them. This topic is clearly contrary to their stated policies on posts to this forum.

Regardless of how you voted in this poll I have a quick question...
Besides updating the methods by which CRPA BoD and leadership are selected; what changes would you like to see in the CRPA?
What new programs do you want instituted, or which existing ones need to be beefed up - and which ones should be trimmed or cut all together? |
