BUY TICKETS NOW! CGF Lunch Following Arguments on Dec. 6

Please join the Calguns Foundation on Thursday, December 6 at the Ninth Circuit Courthouse (95 7th Street, San Francisco) to hear oral arguments in three very important "carry" cases. Lunch will follow.

Lunch will be at Zingari. 501 Post Street, San Francisco.

The cost for lunch is $50, payable to The Calguns Foundation.

LINK FOR PAYMENT

As always, seats are limited. They sell out quick. Don't wait to purchase a ticket.

*********************************************

It's time to do that thing we do at the Ninth Circuit again.

Expect the usual. Great food, great company, lubricating beverages...(it is San Francisco, you know).

So, we'll meet at the Court then mosey off to the venue. The lineup of speakers is likely to include:

Gene Hoffman - Chairman, The Calguns Foundation
Don Kilmer - the first lawyer to win incorporation of the Second Amendment
Alan Gura - lawyer extraordinaire

and me (if you're lucky :D)

Cost is likely to be something in the range of $40-60.

I'm working on the location. As always, space is limited. Make your reservations here, for now, and I'll save you a spot. When the payment button is up, you can pay there.

wolfwood 10-23-2012 10:45 PM

Is this for Calguns people only or can anyone come?

One of my former wrestling students is doing a M.F.A. up there. Since I don't get a chance to see him much I want to see him after court. However I always wanted to hear Alan Gura speak so if I could do both that would be awesome.

jdberger 10-23-2012 10:54 PM

Anyone. Even our friends at the organization formerly known as LCAV.

Funtimes 10-23-2012 11:21 PM

Put the Hawaii group down: Me + 3 friends that I drug along for the ride lol.

Librarian 10-23-2012 11:42 PM

Nothing else on my calendar - save me a spot.

Outstanding, my padawan has been in San Francisco for quite some time now. It is my hope that Mr. Gura and Mr. Kilmer win him back from the Sith. I am yet not strong enough in the Force to save him.

Dreaded Claymore 10-23-2012 11:55 PM

I'll fill a slot. Looking forward to it.

Sorry, did I miss something?

What decision is the 9th ruling on December 6th?

Or is this just for the hell of it, because we can?

It's an after argument lunch meet, where we discuss the arguments and our impression.

Kicker0429 10-24-2012 10:51 AM

One, please

Window_Seat 10-24-2012 11:03 AM

Is the lunch going to be inside the city of sf? I'll think about it... I really want to go to this, but after being stolen from by the SF gov, I'm not impressed with thoughts of going back and supporting sf's tax coffers at the same time... If I could pay CGF big $$ for them to have the lunch in another city, I wouldn't think twice.

Sorry for the bad attitude, but the money that supported those corrupt felons at the city sanctioned car stealing club was going toward medical supplies, RXs, etc. for Mom, so it's very personal.

Yes, I f****d up... I recognize that I f****d up, and I have noone to blame but me, but is the punishment level appropriate for the f*** up?

Erik.

Take BART. You wouldn't be handing money to SF Muni.

Sorry to be the class moron here Gray... but I'm still drawing a blank...

Arguments in what case?

Again, I apologize for being so out of the loop. Apparently, everyone else gets it and I'm the sole dunce here. Really, I do try to keep up on things.

Honest!

I'm tempted - what airport is easier to fly into these days?
SFO or Oakland?

Depends on what airline you would rather fly. If it's Southwest, they fly into SFO, but I like OAK better.

I will either do that, or ride with someone (if I go). It's not just the SF Muni (as an organization) that deserves nothing other than a slow and agonizingly painful death. The general SF gov is in on the whole thing and needs to be completely overthrown (peacefully & legally, of course)... OK, I'm dropping that part of the subject now.

And on that note... Please put me down for 2 admissions.

Erik.

The carry case which would make California shall issue for carry licenses...
