A rant about the sheeple of California

Posted 01-25-2016 at 5:54 PM by Germz

After stepping away from participating in calguns for a while, I've come back and when i read some interesting threads and posts, and i notice some things.

I notice that some people on here are SO horribly wrapped around unenforceable law that it literally prevents them from doing anything because they feel unsafe in their own home that "someone is watching them". The latest thing I came back to was the rules for building an AR pistol. yes there are clearly written rules that say what you can and cant do and how high you need to jump...and x y and z. but whats really sad and pathetic to me is that some people on here take this as gospel and allow it to prevent them from doing something, even to the point where the endstate isn't illegal.

For example, its not illegal to own an AR pistol made from an 80% lower...but the process in order to obtain one makes it so ridiculous that its not worth doing to some. bolt action break top this, and permanently modified that; must be single shot before blah blah blah blah. If you skip all that and just made an AR pistol from an 80% lower like a normal person, guess what, you'd end up with the same thing, skipped a whole lot of BS, and no school children died. And thats something I'd do, because the BS legislation is just there to prevent me from having something that isn't illegal, and the politicians don't want me to have. they just have the advantage that they get to make law. well, sorry. I don't recognize that and don't really care. now don't take that too the extreme just to defeat my logic you armchair keyboard warriors, I'm not going to be making some full-auto anything. But I'll drive 10-15 over the speed limit; that I'm okay with.

Again, maybe its just me, but I read a lot of threads on here now where IANAL people are reciting all the rules and laws that prohibit normal non criminal people from doing everyday firearm-related, normal in the rest of the country stuff. This is how I picture it:

I imagine myself walking into one of those plastic playhouses and seeing a bunch of LITERALLY afraid and concerned men talking about why they can't drink from the blue teacups while touching the white floor tiles, because the wizard in the treefort says you can't; scared sheep headed for a bleak end and all i can think is "get a grip on reality".

of course I will receive hate and shaming from the brainwashed for thinking this way, but honestly I think enough is enough. instead of drinking the koolaid, at some point you have to say "hold on, this doesnt make any sense. I'm not doing any of that"; call it civil disobedience, call me a criminal of the institution. whatever. its better than being a p***y....Rant over. now I'm going back to doing whatever I want because I don't recognize BS legislation.
