I was surfing around looking at AR parts for future builds, and came across this....

http://www.hitach.com/ARR605-48434-2204.html

Has anyone tried or bought one of these? I was just wondering what the quality was like on a part like this, it looks like it would work well, but who knows.

I'd have to agree, looks-wise, its horrible, but I was handling a friend's AR, and the vertical foregrips just didn't cut it for me. Maybe it's just something I ahve to get used to.

EETS NOT AH TOOMAH!

It looks like it belongs on a stock Sig 556 handguard.

ARs and AKs have built in VFGs.... wrap your hand around the magwell on an AR and around the magazine on an AK...

But seriously, hand around magwell with your nose to the charging handle makes for a real ergonomical shooting position.

Drop your elbows too... no funky chicken wings haha

It's not a pistol grip, more like a pregnant stock. I think.
