(I just posted this at http://AmmoGuide.com/ to help FCI.)

Most of us enjoy the shooting sports without worrying if government is going to ban our specific cartridge or rifle. If you are a .50 BMG shooter in Illinios, New York, Hawaii and several other places, you enjoy no such luxury. The .50 BMG has already been banned in my own state of California.

There is only one group specifically focused on protecting access to this historic cartridge - THE FIFTY CALIBER INSTITUTE.

We think they are worth supporting, EVEN IF YOU DON'T OWN A FIFTY. We've heard it many times before, but it's true - If gun owners don't stand together, they will surely fall separately.

I'm webmaster for http://fiftycal.org/ and want all AmmoGuide visitors to be aware of this new FCI fundraiser...

Yes, you could win an EDM ARMS MODEL 05 WINDRUNNER SEMI-AUTO .50 CALIBER - a FANTASTIC rifle that is HOT OFF THE DRAWING BOARD AND NO ONE ELSE OWNS!

AND - You can enter this drawing even if if you are a Californian because there is a CA-compliant version - chambered in the ballistically-equivalent .510 DTC...

(SO YOU CAN TELL AHHHNOLD TO "GO... STICK IT")

This is an excellent opportunity to win a once-in-a-lifetime gun *AND* help support one of the most important, focused and dedicated pro-gun groups operating today.

Those who know me know I look at pro-gun groups with a very critical eye. I'm well aware of the scams some of these financial opportunists perpetrate to get your money first and your personal information second, then do nothing (or worse) to protect the Second Amentment. The Fifty Caliber Institute is highly recommended.

it's an "assault rifle"

It has a pistol grip and a detachable magazine. We're still screwed! Plus, if it can potentially be fired with the stock removed, Oh Noes!

All we gotta do is have the magazine "locked" and maybe then we could use the .510.

So how long until the .60 comes out? :)

If you click through you'd find that the CA version comes in .510DTC without a pistol grip. Somethings tells me one can easily come up with a Californication after winning it should you win it.

Its probably just too early in the morning but where do I register. Do I register at the fifty caliber institute. Could you put up the direct link so I can join. Sorry I just drank my coffee and it takes a few minutes to take affect.

for TEN THOUSAANNNNDD dollars it oughta come with one already!:)

I'm still waiting for the .60...can't wait to see how CA legislation reacts to yet more proof that all their regulations are shortsighted, stupid and easily bypassed...a million dollars in tax money to change the legislation to ".50 or larger".. or some such foolery.
