I'm getting a Mosin-Nagant, mainly becuase they are cheap, but i keep hearing some stuff about wolf ammo being corrosive. Is this true?

Wolf ammo is non corrosive. It does however have a lacquer along the bullet casing crimp. After a day's shooting with Wolf, you will find some of the red lacquer gunk in your action assembly. Some folks complain about this.
I have used Wolf 7.62x39 and 9mm with no issues.

Don't be afraid of corrosive ammo in a nagant. Most surplus 762x54 is either steel core or steel jacketed but it is quite a bit cheaper than wolf. As long as you wash the barrel out with windex or hot water then clean after shooting you won't have a problem. A lot of ranges won't let you shoot magnetic though. Mark

If you come across some older Wolf 54R ammo with a TLE headstamp, beware, it IS corrosive. Most of it was recalled but some may still be floating around out there. Just clean well afterwards.

I've used lacquer coated wolf in my 91/30 and I have had no problems. As for the surplus ammo, I read that some ammo is so corrosive that it will corrode the barrel within 1/2 an hour so I avoid it.

I apologize if my comment offended anyone. It was just a joke, nothing more. Because people worry about using Wolf ammo all the time.

I have been shooting Wolf out of my firearms for years, no problems so far.
