Well I have to thank 3rd_gear for the Bell & Carlson stock, forearm and also Adam @ http://www.hkparts.net for the HK94 metal lower housing for my PTR91. Adam is top notch with super fast shipping. I would like an original HK91 metal housing clipped and pinned, but this will do for now.:D The FCG fit in perfectly.

What kind of barrels are these and how do they compare in accuracy to an AR-10?

Well that was my intention when I started this, but I just love the look and feel of the B&C thumhole. I am undecided. Should I just Kydex my plastic navy lower or file the thumbhole:confused:

Since you got the 10rd mag already. Keep it original and still be able to drop mag w/ a tool.;)

Congrats and be careful. Somehow they breed within the dark quiet confines of the safe like Tribbles, before you know it.... :)

Seriously, there is something about the recoil impulse of an HK style weapon that is oddly satisfying. Enjoy!

I hope they start breeding and come up with a jr. soon.:D Thanks for the comments guys. I have to go pick up another Rad lock today at CWS since I trimmed the previous one down too much for the Navy lower. It still locks okay, but i need to make certain that it will not come out without a tool.

I'm jealous of ur 10 rd Mag

I have 6-7 Steel G3 mags and 3 aluminum G3 mags... I could gladly block down the steel ones to 10rds, or cut them shorter if you want a "true" 10rd mag.

OR I could let them go as rebuild kits if you have hicaps that are trashed.

Either way I don't see myself getting a G3 anytime soon. I like the girlie-man .223/5.56 much better than 7.62 *dons Nomex suit in anticipation of mucho fuego*

I would plug it. If you make a 2-piece plug, it would be removable at a future date in case you leave, or we (as a state) get lucky :D
