A chopstick or one of the "hot dog on a stick" sticks, really any tapered stick will work. Good for pushing out the upper to lower pins for dissassembly, or for cleaning off your shoes when you step in it! :D

Not yet, I just figured the stick was easier to get ahold of than an actual 223 cartridge.

RobG,
was that you at the ranger the other day? I saw this guy firing off a few rounds then he started to lick the side of his rifle. Shortly after that, the whole range started to smell like weinersnitzel??????;)

I don't understand the point of this thread...

"a thing that fits in the bullet button hole is the perfect bullet button tool!"

Well, yeah, duh... I tend to have more ammunition at the range than sticks from consumed corn dogs, but maybe that's just me

I was shooting my 9-mm upper at the indoor range (no rifle cartridges) and kept loosing my 223 snap cap for BB mag disconnect...lucky I had that corn dog with me!

Yeah, but his first suggestion was to use a knife - that makes it more EVIL!

How about a hot chick from Hot Dog on a Stick that just follows you around and detaches the mags for you?
