the acog is the new military dark earth color..'

the tango down and stock are the same color, but don't look it in that light...They are both tan

Looks good man. Wish I had the funds to throw an acog on my OLL. All it needs is a forward pistol grip.

Not all ACOGs are that expensive. His is like $1600 with the Dr.Optic on there, but you can get a 3x compact ACOG for like $900.

Interestingly enough, thats about the same price you'll pay for a Aimpoint M4, 3x magnifier and mounts (since Aimpoint doesn't include mounts).

Are u serious u think 900 dollars isn't alot of money. Thats way over my budget.

It's all relative. When the rifle costs $2,000+, spending $900 on a top-shelf optic that will let you take the most advantage of your weapon, it's not a lot.

Buying quality the first time around is going to be cheaper in the long run.

I think you picked quality parts. But like everyone else said, it'll take awhile for the Bronze/Gold color to grow on me. Trijicon is getting funky with it's colors:p

Nice build and nice choices...

I would suggest painting the rifle before the optic. I've seen those in person and it doesn't look anywhere near as ugly as that. That's a photographic artifact that it looks bright bronze. Tan is a VERY hard color to anodize with.

I would like to know where and how you can put together this Aimpoint M4 with mounts and magnifier for $900... Add about $200 and you're closer to reality.

It pays to know people dude. :)

I have a buddy who's on Aimpoint's evaluation list. They send him stuff for free. He uses it for a few weeks and writes back to Aimpoint about what he does and does not like. After the trial period, he has an option to buy it for 40% off MSRP.

Very nice build, bud! You can't go wrong with MagPul and Trijicon as part of your build list.
