It's a Service Grade.. took about 2 months to arrive. Im impressed by the condition also. I feel bad for not ordering 3 for them :)

Wow! that is very nice. Service grades are like $495, right? Rack, $445 or soemthing? what's the throat and muzzle look like?

Great deal for 595. 30.06 milsurp goes for around 35 cents a round.

The greek surplus from CMP is even cheaper.. about 26 cents per round.

This thing is great because now I can stop breaking the bank trying to feed my M1A.

Holy Crap. your service grade looks way better than one of my correct grade springfields :(

They have a batch of SA and HRA Service Grades that are in excellent condition! Some have been coming with all new CMP birch stocks as well so get em while you can! I have read on the CMP forum that there have been a few rack grade SA's spotted w/ WWII era serial numbers! Beat to hell, but shooters nonetheless! :D

I just sent the paperwork for a Springfield service grade today. I sure hope it looks like that! I don't know if I can wait 2 months, but I guess I'll have to.
