L5 is a translucent 30 round magazine developed for the 5.56mm M16/M4/AR15 rifle. It has an impact resistant translucent polymer body, corrosion resistant steel feed lips and a removable, patent pending, rubber coated bottom. The L5 was designed to be used with the existing magazine pouches and carriers.

Much better than the PMAG because of the steel feed lips that will not wear like synthetic mags do after heavy use. Also the rubber bottom allows for more harsh drops.

Fully visible rounds for easier identification than the small PMAG windows!

$30 each available 3/27/08...

FLAT $5 shipping for any number of mags!

A few questions:

Can you get the Lancer Magazine Cinches? How much per set?

Also, are there any good reasons (other than looks) to buy 30/10-round magazines if one lives in California and has no plans to move?

That is the only reason to buy them period, is for looks.

The extra length does help with manipulation, too.

Here's a link to a YouTube video on how rugged these mags are - "L5 vs. SUV".

Lancer L5 Magazine versus Full Sized SUV ! (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FzIoYipDBQE)

Lancer has mag cinches for multiple mag stacking. Please order those directly from them.

Yes we sell the complete 30 rd mags to outside California. $25 each for unmodified.

Just tried this mag out...works very well! Fed well and being able to visually inspect the number of rounds is great! Uses standard AR mag springs so these would make great repair kits for your beaten and used AR mags. The rubberized floorplate works great too (I normally use Magpul L-Plates on all my mags). Tried these in some different mag pouches and they fit just fine (Eagle, SoTech, Tactical Tailor, etc.)

For you RAW owners (or MMG owners), in the various lowers that I tried (including some tight Bushmasters), these dropped free without any issue. These will definitely be good additions for SIG 556's and other rifles that take AR mags that traditionally used translucent mags.

I just got mine in rebuild kits and they are very good quality. These are very strong competition for the Magpul PMAG.

By any chance, do you have these 30/10s for a 223 ak? Do they make them for an ak?

SFV_Dealer

We have 30/10 AKM (5.45x39mm) mags that fits AK rifles.

The only AK that chambers a 223 is the Saiga and the mags are different. Very expensive mags for the Saiga!

Reports from our customers:
"These are better than the PMAGs - tougher feed lips perfect for dirty dusty conditions"

"Easier to see thru than those silly windowed PMAGs that you can't use anyway at 10rds."

Another 50 incoming !
