Does anyone have on mounted on a 16" M4 upper? I like the adjustability and it looks like a quality part. Owners are they heavy? Would it unbalance a shorter barrel build? Anyone with photos. Thanks

I don't have it on my 16" and would not. Personally, I think they are more for long range rifles, where they can help you with eye relief on long scopes (I have one on my 24" Grendel for that reason). I can tell you that it is heavy, however.

+1, it's probably too heavy for a 16" M4 build. I have one on my 20" MedCon build and I love it there.

Heavy as a house. Best, as CG said, on a long range, precision rifle, like the one I built: http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a287/J_Jedekk_as_is/DSCN0612.jpg

That's an Accu-shot monopod.

you might want to wait for the UBR, unless you have MMG and cant have a collapsible

I would say it would go fine with a 16" MedCon, too. Just depends on the application. A RECCE type build it might look nice.

Personally, I'd much rather have an LMT SOPMOD.

The UBR is about as heavy as the PRS.

put a medium contour barrel on your gun and the rear weight of the UBR will help balance the gun.

A poorly balanced gun will feel heavier than it actually is.
