I have a bone stock SOCOM 16 and I want to mount a Harris bipod on it. Can anyone tell me how to do it?

Few ways (none are cheap, but from least to most expensive):
1.) Get a small lower rail + picatinny -> stud adapter

2.) Drill into your stock, modify and bed a Harris bipod swivel into the stock

3.) Get a rail system (VLTOR)
4.) Get the KAC Rail system and an VLTOR bipod.

This is what I did on my SOCOM 16. Not cheap. Works great. I also bought the A.R.M.S. QD adapter for my bi-pod so I can move it from one platform to another with minimum time and effort. Also not cheap, but worth every penny.

I agree that's not cheap, but it's less than mine (#4).

I used a Dremel tool with a router bit and embedded the Harris swivel. Looks the cleanest IMO.

This works, but I'd recommend epoxy bedding it, too, to add strength to both the stock and the swivel. It looks very clean.

I'm still astonished at how much Harris charges for a sling stud and square of metal.
