That is a very cool design.

What law change are you talking about? Is something supposed to happen soon?

I believe that he's talking about the 10 round limit. Hey, would such a device be a way around the whole detachable magazine thing? Not that we need another way around it beyond the featureless-and-MMG or features-and-BB, but it wouldn't hurt.

Does anyone else see grownup PEZ-dispenser, or is it just me?

I was referring to the 30 rounder mags that they sell from that company.. There will not be any pro gun changes here in CA anytime soon..

Maybe the will sell replacement magazine bodies, and we can replace some of those crappy mags out with this one....

I had actually talked to the owner of this company about a year and half ago regarding making a version of this that could possibly be used for a fixed magazine instead of top-loading. The idea at the time was to take the 30 round body magazine and somehow limit it to 10 rounds but still allow you to pop in the rounds from the side of the magazine without removing it from the rifle. He seemed interested in pursuing it but nothing ever became of it that I am aware of. Of course, then the Bullet Button came out and there was no longer a real need to load your magazine without removing it from the rifle anymore.

Beat me to it... this was a great idea 2 years ago. :D Now I feel old. Everyone was so excited about it! Ahhh the good old days of levered magazines and top loading.

This doesn't nearly as much as a case of ammo:

Thank you, TascoTed... I'd forgotten about those and wanted to order one.

While I'd anticipate it's not quite as fast as the other, seems very nice.

You have one? How do you like it? I guess I'll find out in a week or so...

I like that one, too. It's in my Brownell's catalog. I've been eyeing it for about 2 years, now. Just can't seem to wrap my head around paying $300.00 for a friggin' mag loader!!!!!!!!!

I'm guessing they 1 and 2-off making it. It doesn't look batch made. You could probably roll your own pretty easily, just take time. By the time you were finished it would definitely cost as much or more, though. :D

.

the ones made of steel are not cammenga

i too have one for my 30 carbine it speeedloads 15 and mini14/ar-15

i have the cammenga for the ak and it works decent although it only hold 20 rounds

they are not realy time savers but they save on finger soreness

i dont know how that speedy mag loads like that how does the spring not cause the follower to can't or at least jam up in the body

There was a thread on these a while back. I believe they actually got the manufacturer to make a 10 round version. Search and see!
