How much is this gun worth today? Is this also legal to own in Cali? Thanks in advance. :)

That looks like a grenade launcher on the front.....I do believe that's a no-no. I could be wrong though.

they're legal without the grenade launcher. some places will chop it off and put on a muzzle brake for you for a fee.

If you're the seller I'll give you $50 for it :D

You'll need to get that launcher gone, major no-no there... Anyway it really depends on condition, I've been seeing Yugos go for between $160 (rare to find one that cheap in CA) and $300 lately.

not legal w/spigot. cheap everywhere else, hard to find here because not legal in original configuration.

About 3-4 years ago. I got an YUGO SKS 59/66 from IO at about $150 shipped.

Last week I received a flyer from CAI mentioning that CA-legal SKS 59/66 are about $180-190 each, plus shipping.

Of course you need to add the FFL/DROS stuff after the rifle arrives.

I'd say it's at least $250 to get one OTD.

JG Sales will remove the GL for an additional $35. They dont offer that option on their website so you'll have to inquire about it when you purchase it.

I picked one up a few days ago (Consignment) for $263. Rifle is in good condition. The GL has been removed and replaced with an el cheapo muzzle break. That is "permanently" attached by a spot of weld.

Mostly likely I will take it to the grinder and remove the cheap break.

Probably replacing it with a better more lightweight one. The one they have welded on is nothing but a piece of pipe with holes in it.
Found this guy on the net. Seems to make a quality product.

Boy, I hope when someone gets popped for putting a detachable magazine in his Zastava Model 59/66 carbine that the DA doesn't use threads like this as evidence that the weapon is in fact generally understood to be a Yugoslavian SKS.
