Excuse my ignorance, but im new and just ordered a 556 with a BB

Can I add a folding stock and still be legal?

I am wanting to do something similar to this, but possibly keeping the factory stock with a folder. Will it work? and will I be legal in CA with the BB

Thanks in advance...

I believe it would be legal as long as it's at least 30 inches long folded.

It is, in fact, legal if it's over 30". All features are A-OK with a BB build.

I do hope that isn't your rifle as I'm quite certain it's under 30" and has a PG with a 30rd mag.

He said similar to that, so I wouldn't sweat him too much.

As long as you only use 10 round (or less) mags with the BB and the folded overall length is over 30" you're legal.

Yes, I know he did, my first glance made me gasp, though. Double AW.

Just was making sure - and mentioning it for the benefit of the uneducated lookie-loos.

Nope not my rifle, but you guys pretty much answered my ?s, so basically it can be folding stock as long as its 30"...too bad because I think that is less than 30".

EDIT and when I said similar I didnt mean all the fetures, I think the mag is lame, but do like the stock.

you sure it was painted i saw one that had a color print (photograph)inside of the bullets and spring

hmm you know how everything has a woodgrain picture how about a bullet pile veneer

ooh and have realtree do a camo dip to make your gun look like a pile of scattered emptys cause that would hide a gun at my range
