Was wondering which of the new ar15 bolt carrier groups are sp1 bcg's or who sells them?

Anyone know what style the young mfg bcg is?

also how can you tell or where can you find out which styles are what like LMT, YMFG, CMMG etc are they?

CMMG, LMT, Young Etc....
Carry both M16 carriers and semi-auto carriers. They are not like the SP1 carrier. The modern semi carriers have shrouded firing pins.

SP1 carriers are original colt carriers with unshrouded firing pins and short full circle rear end.

The best place to look would be gunbroker, I doubt any vendors have new SP1 carriers.

This is a SP1 carrier:

I saw a guy at the last gun show here in San Diego selling the SP1s. You might want to check out the next gun show in your area.

Good Luck,

Thanks guys. I've checked out a few carriers and none SP1'd, was hoping like LMT or Young or someone nowadays did sp1 style carriers.

Why is this significant to you?

Why is this significant to you?

i have a couple ancient colt uppers and would like to have a spare matching carrier.
probably not that significant for some i suppose.
