Gents & Ladies,

Considering a Remington Model 700 VTR in 22-250 or .223

Any comments or experiences? Many thanks!

No experience but a cool looking rifle. I would more at the VSS model as it has a better stock and a longer barrel. THe new Rewmingtons have the new x mark triggers. Better than the old triggers. Nice compromise between a sporter and a heavy barrel. I imagine the typical great accurcy of the model 700 action. Nice rifle for the money.

the VSS besides the concave target-style barrel crown and the full-length aluminum bedding block, it is missing the cool look factor. But I see your point.

Thats highly debatable. MANY prefer the old triggers.

To the OP-what type of shooting do you plan on doing with the rifle?
