I'm down when a group buy rolls around. Also any word if you or anyone will be making 10 round drum mags? The 10 round box mag kinda takes away from what makes the PPSH look like a PPSH.

not putting anybody down, but is the price right for this item? sound kinda high with out shipping included ? this gun has no evil feature , except for the high cap mag. But i'll take one if there is a large group buy. let me know when it becoem avalaible.

Are you selling extra 10 round magazines separately? If so, for how much?

A group buy for this would be a good idea.

i would be interested in a group buy, but also agree with some members that almost 900 bucks for this type of rifle seems high.

Its an incredibly hard rifle to build as it takes an intense amount of hand fitting to assemble so in other words its not cheap to make. Anyway, I will try to get the group buy price to a level where it is more appealing to the masses. Spread the word and i'll get a group buy going in a couple days.

AA has offered to send a sample to EAI for T&E.
We are waiting eagerly for this; a historic carbine firing the high-penetration pistol 7.62x25 round sounds like a sure winner here in CA.

If this goes through, we will put a pictorial review out as well as put the rifle up for display in our showroom. Calgunners would then be welcome to come by and handle it for themselves.

Could you tell us if you plan to sell 10 round drum mags as well? I think that's what's keeping me from buying one. The 10 round stick mag just looks odd.

To make a 10/25 PPSH magazine, I would (not that we are currently making any, it is just how I would do it) measure off 10 rounds, then drill four holes in the magazine body where two pieces of metal rod would be inserted to block downward movement of the follower and then be welded into place.

There might be other methods as well... but that sounds like a good balance between legality and the potential for reversal at some point.

PPSH magazine kits are around on Gunbroker and elsewhere.

We originally made ten round mags from modified 31 round mags, but we figured it would be in the best interest of our company to only make ten round mags that could not be modified to accept more than ten rounds.

Not all of us are that lucky ;). I didn't have the hindsight to buy high caps when I was 14.

Thats an interesting rifle, I like the look of the drum mag.

I'm sure we eventually could do a modified drum mag, but it seems like such a waste... :(

Maybe we could poll those of who wants drums? At what number would it be worth it for your company to make those? Honestly the drug mag is the only thing that is holding me back.

You can find parts for those... and make your own. There is nothing IIRC in CA law that prohibits anyone from making a low-capacity magazine.

Just so you know, though, the drum magazine doesnt work like many think it does. It is not simply "load through the top". You have to remove the back, wind the spring, load the rounds individually, and hope that you don't lose any fingers in the process when that spring whips back around. IIRC, and all that - it's been a while since I looked at my PPSH parts.

are you still thinking of a group buy?

That's the part I'm not sure of and can't get a direct answer from DOJ. I guess I'll send them a letter about the issue and see what the legality of taking in magazine parts kits from out of state and assembling modified 10 round magazines.
