Hello Everyone,

(Moderators I hope you don't mind my providing an update).

Just 1 more month and we should be going live.

Our goal and motto is simple "Quality Without Compromise".

I am in the process of getting things ready to be a vendor on Calguns as well as some other very popular forums, and starting this summer, you will see us at some of the very popular shows here in California and other shows outside of California.

We will be offering many products and accessories for the AK, AR and other rifle series from quality mfg's on our website, and we will be stocking quite a few of these products here in our Warehouse in SFV. Plus we will also be offering some cool tactical gear.

Thanks to all who have been providing great guidance, support and encouragement, and I will list those who have supported me in the endeavor here on Calguns once I announce we are open for business.

Thank you,
Chris

Cool, looking forward to your opening!
Any chance you'll be doing any AR gunsmithing along with selling the gear?

Not at the moment, but we are in the process of obtaining permits etc. for mfg/machining parts, which will also allow us to perform some gunsmithing and assembly. That is phase 2 of our business plan. More to follow on this in the coming months.

Thanks,
Chris

Phase 3 is the Super Secret Sauce that I cannot discuss yet.

Lets just say that many people here will be very pleased and happy.

Best of luck to you, man. I will certainly be checking things out as soon as you have your operation up & running. BTW, are you also going to have complete firearms for sale (FFL?)?

Buy out Metroshot already.

I found it was better to go down my own path, as hard and difficult as it is...

Well if City of LA does not work, I have a plan B in the works too.

I hear that. $25 for a $4 G3 10/20 mag! The price of rivets must have gone up! I'm sorry, I just hate to see CA on CA crime. Good luck with your shop.

I take issue with this.

1.)G3 mags aren't $4, unless you're lucky as sin
2.) you have to have the mag broken down to parts before shipping it in
3.) you have to ship it to you
4.) you have to buy the parts necessary to modify
5.) in some cases these modifications are being outsourced, which requires additional shipping
6.) labor=money
7.) Stocking items costs money

I'm sorry, but $25 for a mag doesn't sound expensive to me. If you have a problem with it, deal with doing it yourself. They're offering items at prices at which they can afford to.

FFLs and shops are in business to make money. We all hail capitalism until it means we have to pay on the supply/demand side.

Second place I looked (First place was HKPro):

http://www.cdnninvestments.com/hk91320alma21.html

And you get a mag pouch!

Here's some STEEL ones (roughly $5.00 each):

I understand your point about capitalism and what not, I just see a lot of price gouging of Californians. These "modifications" are not extensive. A drill, and a rivet gun + 1 minute = 10/20 "modified" magazine. No need to outsource that.
