This should add discussion points to the caliber controversy concerning home protection .

If she is a poor marksman and can't hit anything, what difference does the caliber make? No controversy - missing with a .22 is the same as missing with a 12 gauge slug - no hit!

Already brought up before but why is the reporting calling it a assault weapon?

Must be because it had an evil feature of " a grip conspicuously below the action"

Without knowing it, he made a point of, "why do you need an assault rifle".

it also looked like it had a shoulder thing that goes up

she took several shots and them and one still came back, good evidence for the necessity of standard cap magazines?

Hipoint 995ts, great little carbine. i have owned one for a few years and it's my wifes favorite firearm, cant remember the last jam and the thing is more accurate then most shooters out to 100 yards.

As for the story; this is the first i have heard that the gun was fake. The balls on that kid, he was going to get into a firefight with an armed homeowner while armed only with an airsoft pistol.
