Well, well, well.

Feinstein publicly accuses CIA of spying on Senate computers (http://www.latimes.com/nation/politics/politicsnow/la-pn-feinstein-cia-20140311,0,4351864.story)

WASHINGTON -- Sen. Dianne Feinstein, the head of the Senate Intelligence Committee, escalated a behind-the-scenes dispute with the CIA by publicly accusing the spy agency of secretly searching a Senate computer system, an act she said undermines congressional intelligence oversight and may have violated the law.

The expanding dispute has opened a rift between the CIA and the Senate committee that oversees it and often has defended it. Already, some CIA officers could face criminal prosecution as a result of a Justice Department investigation of the incident.

"I have grave concerns that the CIA search may well have violated the separation of powers principles," Feinstein said on the Senate floor. "I am not taking it lightly."

...

Edit. Another article here: Sen. Feinstein Says CIA Spied on Congress (http://online.wsj.com/news/articles/SB10001424052702304250204579433032003802464?mg=ren o64-wsj&url=http%3A%2F%2Fonline.wsj.com%2Farticle%2FSB1000 1424052702304250204579433032003802464.html)

WASHINGTON—Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein (D., Calif.), a longtime defender of U.S. intelligence efforts, sharply criticized the Central Intelligence Agency Tuesday, saying its actions undermined lawmakers' ability to oversee the administration.

Breaking her recent silence on the issue, Ms. Feinstein said the CIA, without any prior notification, had searched Senate committee computers in a secure location in northern Virginia that aides were using to securely review CIA documents on its secret detention program. The CIA also searched a separate network drive containing the Senate staffers' work and internal messages, she said.

"I have grave concerns that the CIA's search may well have violated the separation-of-powers principles embodied in the U.S. Constitution" and undermined Congress' ability to effectively oversee the administration, Ms. Feinstein said in a long and detailed speech on the Senate floor Tuesday. "How this will be resolved will show whether the Intelligence Committee can be effective in monitoring and investigating our nation's intelligence activities, or whether our work can be thwarted by those we oversee." ...

So whether unconstitutional government spying can continue depends on whether it is done on her or not?!

Ironic isn't it?...It's OK to spy on you and I but when they start snooping on her and congress it's not.

Imagine if Feinstein had her OWN guns confiscated ... then bearing arms would be "a God-given right!' ... If only that would happen. She has no sense of shame.

Snowden zings Feinstein good.

Edward Snowden critiques Dianne Feinstein remarks
(www.politico.com/story/2014/03/edward-snowden-dianne-feinstein-cia-104529.html)

National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden called out Sen. Dianne Feinstein after her fiery floor speech Tuesday assailing the CIA, calling her anger hypocritical.

Snowden released a statement after the California Democrat spent nearly an hour on the Senate floor decrying the CIA for accessing Senate Intelligence Committee computers and interfering with staffers’ investigations into CIA interrogation tactics.

“It’s clear the CIA was trying to play ‘keep away’ with documents relevant to an investigation by their overseers in Congress, and that’s a serious constitutional concern,” Snowden said in a statement to NBC News and confirmed to POLITICO by a Snowden associate. “But it’s equally if not more concerning that we’re seeing another ‘Merkel Effect,’ where an elected official does not care at all that the rights of millions of ordinary citizens are violated by our spies, but suddenly it’s a scandal when a politician finds out the same thing happens to them.” ...

She's always been a two faced, double dealing b!tch

She doesn't want us to have firearms but she carries one everywhere. Not her security detail (they do as well of course) but her.

Obviously a peremptory strike to whatever dirt they stumbled upon. Feinsteins lucky there is no real press or else we might find out what is really going on and she could end up where she belong .. in shackles in a orange jump suit with matching flip flops. Wouldnt that be great?

She will be re-elected and will serve out at least another two terms. Boxer might be there for another 20 years.

Talk about old senate wood, it's in the seats, not the seats themselves.

There is also mush in the minds of California voters.
