hmmm, over 200 views and no bites. I'm an easygoing guy - feel free to let me know (either PM or here in the thread, I'm inviting responses) what it is that's turning you away. Don't like it bundled, just want the gun? only want part of the package? don't like the price? want better pictures?

As a seller I need to know what the buyers want, and I won't know unless ya tell me. ;)

I will respond to that!!! Looks great, can't afford it at that price though :( A better bundle would be with all that 9mm ammo you have for sale :)! Good luck though.

hah! The gun + ammo would be at least $800, more than what I'm already asking! :) I have no problem selling a case of the $300 ammo with this, though - it just isn't in the "cheap" category. (I define cheap at around $300 or less for a gun)

Nice CZ. I would offer the option of just selling the gun by itself also. I am semi-interested, but only in the gun itself....don't really need all the other extras.

Gotcha. Would that be with or without the extra mags? (2 come with the weapon of course, so we're talking the left over 3 branded and 2 fakes)

Whatever came with the gun would be one option. And another option would be with everything as you originally posted.

Roger - lemme decide a fair asking price and update later tonight for just the gun (and associated "as shipped" stuff). Someone else reading the thread already PM'd about possibly taking the other parts (they just bought a new CZ 3 days ago! hah) if I split it up, so it looks like this is what the buyers want to see. :)

The gun is still available, the "I'll take it!" couldn't work out, sadly (PayPal, etc.).

I didn't explicitly state this because I assumed (bad assumption), this would be a cash transaction. It never occurred to me people would want to pay in other forms. :)

A first-grade teacher, Ms. Brooks, was having trouble with one of her students.

The teacher asked, "Harry, what's your problem?" Harry answered, "I'm too smart for the 1st grade. My sister is in the 3rd grade and I'm smarter than she is! I think I should be in the 3rd grade too!"

Ms. Brooks had had enough. She took Harry to the principal's office.

While Harry waited in the outer office, the teacher explained to the principal what the situation was.

The principal told Ms Brooks he would give the boy a test. If he failed to answer any of his questions he was to go back to the 1st grade and behave.

She agreed.

Harry was brought in and the conditions were explained to him and he agreed to take the test.

Principal: "What is 3 x 3?"

Harry: "9".

Principal: "What is 6 x 6?"

Harry: "36".

And so it went with every question the principal thought a 3rd grader should know. The principal looks at Ms. Brooks and tells her, "I think Harry can go to the 3rd grade."

Ms. Brooks says to the principal, "Let me ask him some questions." The principal and Harry both agreed.

Ms. Brooks asks, "What does a cow have four of that I have only two of?"

Harry, after a moment: "Legs."

Ms. Brooks: "What is in your pants that you have but I do not have?"

The principal wondered, why would she ask such a question!

Harry replied: "Pockets."

Ms. Brooks: "What does a dog do that a man steps into?"

Harry: "Pants"

Ms. Brooks: What's starts with a C, ends with a T, is hairy, oval, delicious and contains thin, whitish liquid?

Harry: Coconut.

The principal sat forward with his mouth hanging open.

Ms. Brooks: What goes in hard and pink then comes out soft and sticky?

The principal's eyes opened really wide and before he could stop the answer.

Harry: Bubble gum

Ms. Brooks: What does a man do standing up, a woman do sitting down and a dog do on three legs?"

Harry: "Shake hands."

The principal was trembling.

Ms. Brooks: What word starts with an 'F' and ends in 'K' that means a lot of heat and excitement?

Harry: "Firetruck"

The principal breathed a sigh of relief and told the teacher, "Put Harry in the fifth-grade, I got the last seven questions wrong."

The extra parts (mags, holster, etc.) are now moved from SPF to Sold status, I had someone PM me asking if still available - they're already in the hands of their new owner. Just the gun is for sale now, thanks for looking!

What I'm saying is, THIS gun is going to be a PPT. You can go ahead and buy it, even though you just bought a new gun. Only new purchases fall under the 30 day rule. You can buy private party as often as you'd like. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

As the poster below your post mentions, I *think* you can overlap a New and a PPT, but I'm not a legal expert. But what can be done, assuming this is not possible to overlap, is you can find a friendly FFL who will put it in the safe and wait to run the DROS on your behalf when it's legally possible.

You definitely want to call FFLs and make sure they'll do that first, though - there might be some sort of legal grey area I'm not aware of, best not to listen to a guy on the internet and call a FFL instead, get the legal 411 right from their mouth(s).

sevans
03-11-2008, 2:16 PM
You can definitely purchase another gun ppt while still waiting out your original 30 day wait. PPT are completely exempt from the 30 day wait before, during or after. I've done it several times without a problem.

bwiese

Rivviepop and Sevans above are correct.

The 'one handgun per month' law only applies to regular "inventoried" FFL handgun sales, and not PPT/consignment, or intrafamily transfers or probate/inheritances.

In fact, you could DROS one new Glock and a bit later (or even at the same time) PPT 10 Sigs in the same month.

You could not start a new DROS for a non-PPT gun until 30 days after the that Glock, but the PPT'd Sigs would not affect/reset 30 day period.

This is how folks wanting to buy paired guns (consec serial #) have done it to reduce total time from 60 days to 21 days (albeit at extra cost):

party #1 DROSes gun #1; party #2 DROSes gun #2;
10 days elapse
party #1 picks up gun #1; party #2 'picks up' gun #2
party #1 immediately PPTs gun #2 to party #2 at FFL
10 more days elapse
party #1 picks up gun #2;
party #1 now has two new guns DROSed to him in 21 days
(This is *not* a straw purchase - just so folks won't bring that up.)

Two babies were sitting in their cribs, when one baby shouted to the other, “Are you a little girl or a little boy?”

“I don’t know,” replied the other baby giggling. ”What do you mean, you don’t know?” said the first baby.

“I mean I don’t know how to tell the difference,” was the reply.

Well, I do,” said the first baby chuckling. “I’ll climb into your crib and find out.”

He carefully climbed himself into the other baby’s crib, then quickly disappeared beneath the blankets. After a couple of minutes, he resurfaced with a big grin on his face.

“You’re a little girl, and I’m a little boy,” he said proudly.

“You’re ever so clever,” cooed the baby girl, “but how can you tell?”

“It’s quite easy really,” replied the baby boy, “You’ve got pink socks and I’ve got blue ones.”

Wow, I've never been asked that before - I have no clue. I'm going to give you a gut instinct answer and say 'no', as far as I'm aware CZ mags work in a CZ and that's it. Mags within the CZ line are interchangeable with many models (75 mags work in SP-01, 75 Compact work in P-01, etc.) but not outside the family. Anyone who knows better, please - feel free to correct me.

Two rednecks, Bubba and Earl, were driving down the road drinking a couple of bottles of Bud.The passenger, Bubba, said "lookey thar up ahead, Earl, it's a poll-ice roadblock!! We're gonna get busted fer drinkin' these here beers!!" Don't worry, Bubba", Earl said. "We'll just pull over and finish drinkin' these beers, peel off the label and stick it on our foreheads, and throw the bottles under the seat".

"What?", asked Bubba. "Just let me do the talkin', OK?", said Earl. Well, they finished their beers, threw the empty bottles under the seat, and each put a label on their forehead. When they reached the roadblock, the sheriff said, "You boys been drinkin'?" "No, sir", said Earl. "We're on the patch"!

A woman got on a bus holding a baby. The bus driver said, "That's the ugliest baby I've ever seen."

In a huff, the woman slammed her fare into the fare box and took an aisle seat near the rear of the bus.

The man seated next to her sensed that she was agitated and asked her what was wrong.

"The bus driver insulted me," she fumed.

The man sympathized and said, "Why, he's a public servant and shouldn't say things to insult passengers."

You're right," She said. "I think I'll go back up there and give him a piece of my mind."

"That's a good idea," the man said. "Here, let me hold your monkey."

Only because y'all have been so nice, from the top page now:

2008-03-18 13:30 - in honor of over 2,200 views of this thread (I'm guessing it's for the jokes) I am subtracting the price of the DROS fees ($35) from the asking price, dropping from $550 to $515 - this won't become a normal thing, the price goes no lower (even this is lower than I think it's worth, but hey - I'm easy).

A young reporter went to a retirement home to interview an aged but legendary explorer. The reporter asked the old man to tell him the most frightening experience he had ever had.

The old explorer said, "Once I was hunting Bengal tigers in the jungles of India. I was on a narrow path and my faithful native gunbearer was behind me. Suddenly the largest tiger I have ever seen leaped onto the path in front of us. I turned to get my weapon only to find the native had fled. The tiger leapt toward me with a mighty ROARRRR! I soiled myself."

The reporter said, "Under those circumstances anyone would have done the same."

The old explorer said, "No, not then - just now when I went 'ROARRRR!'"
