View Full Version : Where do you buy your blades, bows and tools?

I thought that it would be a good idea to get a list going to good places to buy. If we get enough good ones, maybe a sticky? As far as I know, Calguns does not have any knife/bow sponsors, so this should be okay to do.

These are my favorite knife forums, and a good place to find something unique or someone who can make you a custom tomahawk or a gladius, usually $2-600ish:
Bladeforums.com (http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/forumdisplay.php/754-For-Sale-Fixed-Blades)

This guy Peter is a custom knife maker and his gallery is pretty impressive. He appears to work mostly on commission:
PMJKNIVES.COM (http://www.pjmknives.com/portfolio.html) (Link goes to his gallery.)

Shiva Ki Custom Knives. Pricey, but Wow!:

These are the high-end sword guys on the internet. If you are ready to spend some serious cash on a "real" sword, nobody does it better. $BUCKS:
Albion Swords Ltd. (http://www.albion-swords.com/)

I've always had a thing for Tomahawks. RMJ makes some really good ones. They have some really cool videos showing their hawks tearing up cars and cinder blocks on youtube. $425ish:
RMJ Tactical (http://www.rmjtactical.com/)
There are a lot of cheaper alternatives for hawks out there. I have a cold steel trench hawk that I beat the crap out of and love.

This site is for blem Kershaw blades. It is well reviewed:
Kershawguy.com (http://www.Kershawguy.com)

Cold Steel sells cheap Chinese blades that work. They sell everything, even crazy sh*t like halberds, spears and two handed swords. If you want something very practical and cheap to use and abuse, this is what you want. $40-$500:
Coldsteel.com (http://www.coldsteel.com/)

EBay - Don't discount eBay for new and used bows. For whatever reason, this is the go to place for dealers to offload brand new old stock bows for very deep discounts.

BladeHQ for blades. I recently scored the new Scaxe5 for $51 delivered. I see places asking $100 base price!

My bows & carbon arrows and such I get direct from a Hoyt guy in the midwest I learned about on archerytalk.com
