View Full Version : Want to change a FF handguard in N. OC

I bought a used MI GenII SS series FF and want to install it on my DPMS rimfire rifle. The rifle is a bull barrel .22LR and doesn't have a front sight or gas tube to worry about. The DPMS has a factory carbine length FF handguard already. The MI has a proprietary barrel nut and my problem is I don't have the tools to install it so I would like to find someone who doesn't charge a fortune for that and won't have to keep it for a couple of weeks. I'm in the city of Orange area so would like something close to that. Anyone know of someone who can help?

Try Randall (AR15barrels) if you can't find anyone local.

I saw his toolbox- he has a TON of AR adapters for just about any FF forend on the market.

Based on the recomendation I went there today, first time I had been there. They did the job right, did the job quick and did the job for about half of what I had been quoted elsewhere. Very friendly shop, answering every question I had without making me feel foolish. I plan on going back again now, two thumbs up for these guys!
