What a cute kid. One of you with an 11 yo son should put a deposit on this lil gal.

Impressive! I've never actually timed myself, but now I'm a little afraid to... hate to be shown up by an 11 year old girl! kudos to her!!

They should start ''national AR field stripping competitions'' lol

Impressive.

Contests would be sorta cool, in a gun geek way :).

I'm glad all the comments on youtube that were hitting on the girl got deleted. There were quite a few when I last saw this. Come on she's 11

I realized long ago that there is no 'seething underbelly' of the internet. The seething underbelly IS the internet.

I loved how she flicked the bolt carrier assy to ensure that the bolt was all the way forward in the carrier before inserting into the upper. Looked like she's done it a million times before!

Yup, the kids got skillz.

:)

Way back when, I could strip in just over 9 seconds and assemble in around 30.

Of course, we did train to do it quite a bit (even blinkfolded). The Grunt motto in the Marine Corps was "idle hands are the devils playthings" so they kept us busy.

I've got a little one on the way.. If its a girl, I know what to shoot for. 52 seconds! :) That was indeed impressive! :)

What's sad are some of the comments. Especially from the Canadians and Europeans.

I think it's awesome that's doing that.

I think most kids like puzzles and things you can take apart and put together. :D That said, good job to the girl and her dad. If she continues to learn how to do stuff like that, she'll never want for boyfriends!

If we want a poster-girl this one is more suitable to some of us older fellas;

I really like her form...uh her shooting form. And her smile. Yeah, her smile!

I laughed at how happy she looked when her father announced her time at the end. Damn, I can't even go that fast with my AR!

Awesome. Now teach her to shoot.

If I had to guess... she already knows how to shoot and I would even have to guess that when she goes to the range she out shoots most of the guys there!

I wonder what her mother thinks?? My ex 'tolerates' the fact that my son is just about as big a gun junkie as I am. I'm sure if I had had a girl, and she'd shown any interest at all, she'd be shooting/collecting just like my son... but something tells me I'd be catching a lot more crap from the ex about it!

That was probably the coolest, and yet most adorable thing I've seen all day!

I'm willing to bet too that she'll NEVER accidentally injure herself or anybody else because there's a firearm in the house since she has been so well trained and instructed! Most accidents are caused by curious children with no lessons of discipline to guide them.

If she ends up in the Military she's going to scare the B'Jebus out of some poor DI the first time. Either than or bring a tear to their eye. :)
