I was going to say craftsman but a quick google search proved me wrong there. That's really too bad :(

Most combination wrenches crescents, screwdrivers and what not are stamped out overseas and then brought in for final labeling, hardening and plating.

I have a $40 Klein torpedo level that said China on it. Bought from HD in the Klein section. I've used the same level for years, only the last time that I bought it did I notice the little white China indicator. Did Klein go over seas or are they just outsourcing certain stuff?

EDIT: Now that I think about it.. I dropped it once and whatever it hit took a huge gouge out of the side of the level.. seems pretty weak to me now that I really think about it.

There was a lawsuit about that. Labeled made in USA but not truly made in the USA. I hate to say it but finding that out makes me want to not shop with them anymore. Tough to beat that warranty though, which I've used.

Add Case Cutlery, if you consider knives "tools" as I do.

Not to derail the thread, but...
Be cautious if you buy anything from them, they don't put up negative reviews on some of the products they sell. I've submitted a review several times for the 3 pairs of Stan Ray pants i bought that only lasted a month and my review has been denied every time.
