"i said that was complete bull and ther was only one bad lot and it is some of the best ammo ive shot other than cci minimags" he said he would ask the manager to order some but i'm not holding my breath

i was at a k-mart and they wanted $29.60 for a box of 500 dynapoint

I really miss the Dynapoint days. It was near match ammo at econo box prices.

They do dynapoint magnum ammo. I almost tricked the guy into selling me 250rds of magnum for the price of 50, but alas!

Yes, at least for the Milpitas Wal-Mart.

It used to be cheaper, but like all ammo it's going up.

Its is now. For the first time in a very long time, Big 5 was actually competitive vs Walmart for 22 lr. Blazer at $12 over the Prez day weekend got me to buy 3 boxes from the Big 5. Usually I get the 550 pack of Federal at Walmart but the price jumped a couple bucks last month.

My local Walmart carries Federal AutoMatch in (325) round cartons for 14.42. Snatched up all they had since it is difficult to find. Word on rimfirecentral is that it is very good ammo for the price.

AM-22 was hard to find at 11.57 a box. I'm curious at how popular it is at 14.42. There have been other tough to find boxes that become easier to find when the price goes up. I picked up 4 AM-22 boxes at the new price but couldn't see buying more.

I am surprised they ahd any at all. That was the first time I had ever seen AM22 there. They only had 5 boxes so I figure what the hell I will see what everyone is raving about on rimfirecentral. One guy weighed a whole box and found out that 299 rounds weighed the same. So weight was pretty consistent. I am picking up (2) S&W model 41's this weekend so I will see how they like it next week when I get a chance to go shoot them.

Can you? If so, please enlighten us uneducated reloaders on how to reprime rimfire cases.

Well, like any reloading process, you must get brass. I can provided over a million case in a flat rate box, of course you will need to clean, and resize them. The most time consuming part is priming the inside case with a q-tip. Now you need to make a choice - since the case is so small you need to a) hand load the power and the projectile, or B) load them up in your Dillion 650 and go to town. I find that it take more time on the 650, because i can't really place the projectile on the belled case before crimping. The movement on the lift keeps upsetting the projectile alignment. So hand loading is the way to go or just buy ammo from the store. My handloads can get sub MOA at 300 yards!!

I also can get sub MOA on a 22 short at 400 yards. Lot's of work . . but could be done one day .

Nice score Cali-man. My store had 7 boxes a few weeks ago when I bought 4 boxes. That was the first time they had any in months. I just picked up 1500 rds of the Federal #510 in 50 rd boxes. The 510 is another well regarded bulk-priced round on rimfirecentral.

I also like to shoot the .22 shorts. I think if I stop slapping the trigger I to can get sub moa at 400 when the cross wind is under 25mph. Also nice that i can fit 10,000 cases at a time in my Harbor Freight tumbler (or about 7000 long rifle).

Would you be so kind to send me a link for that tumbler? I'm looking for one that can handle a 14000 long rifle. How many 22 do you thing it will tumble?

I am going to try some of those 510's also. We'll see how the AM22 shoots also. I also have some Wolf ME I bought a while back when it was cheaper. I bought abrick just becuase I thought the price was decent. Hopefully the weather permits this coming weekend. Here's a pic of my recent aquisitions.
