Funny description!!

Up for auction is my almost new GSG-5. I bought it for $499.00 plus tax. It's crap...period! It's a $250.00 upgraded airsoft gun. Toyko Marui makes better airsoft then these losers. All the $499.00 and up prices you see are a bunch of theves! It just does'nt even rate the $499.0 SRP! It looks cool but it's a P.O.S. sewer pipe IMHO. The only problem with this "gun" is that I had to super glue the "German Quality" stock! Comes with two 22 round magazines so no bidding from NJ,NYC,MD,CA or anywhere else that is full of socialist legislators and sheeple! I'm selling it cheap, unlike the price gouging Fuks on GB.com. Especially that loser thief FFL in N.J. with the 68% mark-up on the gun and 110% mark-up on the mags! You suck and I hope the NJSP and the ATF raid you! But I digress, shipping will be 29.00 UPS or FEDEX. I will ship immediately after receipt of Ink signed FFL and payment by USPS money order only! No shipping outside CONUS.

Sounds like some anger problems. Maybe he should have painted it pink or something, calm him down a bit huh?

02-19-2008, 8:42 PM
That's too funny.
Now to search for the loser "theef" FFL in NJ!

Well, you can't say the guy isn't honest. Most people would have said "Wonderful rifle" "great to shoot" "Lots of fun" "hard to get" whatever, just to get rid of the thing.

I admire his honesty and his "no BS attitude" :D

02-20-2008, 5:21 AM

Handled one at the gun show and I gotta say, it did feel really cheap and pretty lose.

02-20-2008, 8:42 AM
So... anybody shot one yet to be able to say if he is full of it or not?
Don't want to invest in the dreaded krinker plinker again. Yes, I said it. Krinker Plinker!!

Yeah, I'd like to know if there is merit to his claim or this was an isolated case.

In other words, does this gun suck?

02-20-2008, 11:28 AM
What cracks me up is he won't sell to certian states because of "hi cap mags"

02-20-2008, 11:34 AM

I'd like to know the same, as we have a number on order at Bullseye

02-20-2008, 11:38 AM
he is spot on. the gun is built like a toy. only plus is the cool factor because it looks like an mp5.

02-20-2008, 11:43 AM
wow, that is one honest seller!

02-20-2008, 2:06 PM
I'm not gonna lie. It might look like an MP5 but the Tokyo Marui or Classic Army airsofts look far more realistic. Thats not stopping me from owning one. Hell, I even have a Trijicon Reflex I plan of putting on the thing. Just plan on buying airsoft goodies to trick out your GSG. Actual HK stuff will not work. I picked up a Tokyo Marui, low-profile, railed mount on ebay (aluminum construction) for $10. I pick up my GSG in 10 days. I'll post a full review + pics of the gun and airsoft. I'm also going to see if the airsoft stock assemblies of the higher end airsoft guns (a.k.a nicer metal work) will work on the GSG and not affect function. (This way we might be able to get adjustable stocks faster and cheaper!) In terms of the plastic-like gloss the overall gun has...its really not anything Krylon ultra flat black can't fix. I'm personally going to look into replacing the silly SF lower with an ordinary HK lower. I'll only know from hands-on inspection when I receive the gun if an actual HK lower can be modded in any way to accept a GSG trigger housing.

I also have some work ahead of me to mod the 3 mags I purchased. This gun should be worth the $500 price for a .22 plinker though......especially after watching the videos on youtube and reading the review on several other sites. This gun looks to be a real winner. I'm totally excited about mine! I think this guy is probably nothing more than a dissappointed airsofter. Being a former airsofter myself, the realistic appearance and solid feel of the bb guns makes a big difference to serious players. I hope GSG makes a G36 next!!!!!

Funny, the ones at SHOT must have been different. They felt and looked like real quality firearms. I also think it's interesting that his starting bid is still above dealer cost. At least it's above the price that the importer quoted me.

I have actually handled one, played with it. Mess around with cocking handle, mags, tweak the stock etc. But fit and finish is much better then any classic army or highend airsoft replica. Also, not sure how heavy real HK MP5 is but GSG is pretty darn heafty, more so then any ICS, CA and TM replicas. Also finishing on the magwell and receiver edges are really nice and smooth when compared to relicas. Cocking handle is pretty decent and beefy, so it could actually take some Hk slap abuse(unlike airsoft). My only gripe is that receiver is 2pc instead of 1pc. But on low recoil .22LR it really doesnt matter. Anyhow, I dont think they'll have any problem selling these. I just cant wait to get mine from Atlantic, so I can do some rapid fire plinking and not think about $$$ signs in my head.

02-20-2008, 4:16 PM
lol it's funny cause he edited the description now

02-20-2008, 5:04 PM
You know I handled one at the Ontario Gunshow and I gotta agree with Option it did feel a lot more hefty than an airsoft clone. I think it's worth the 500 bucks asking.

we got one in at the range to play with.

Some failures to fire with it, but seems to be getting better the more rounds go through it. Seems to not like being held by the mag/mag well while being fired.

I would not say its heavily built, but its adequate for what it is. A fun range toy, .22 plinker.

Fairly accurate for the small sights, shooting out the 9 ring at 30 feet with mini-mags and federal, shooting fairly quickly.

The gun does not feel like an MP5 in fit and finish but it does have the same manual of arms, could be easier to take down but its not bad. Just not as easy as a real MP5. This is NOT going to be like a ruger 10/22 or MKIII where you can just shoot it and wait for the carbon to fall off due to recoil. It will require regular cleaning to keep functional.

If you are expecting an Mp5 clone that shoots .22lr you will be disappointed, this is a .22lr rifle that strongly resembles an Mp5.

The plastic parts are the trigger group, stock, rear sight, hand guard and the bolt assembly rides in a plastic housing that slips into the body.

Odd part is the serialized part seems to be the bolt/breach assembly, not the actual body.

This is a fun little rifle and the attention/interest in it is through the roof. I will be getting one for myself after everyone else does and I finish building my m1a.
