I'm going to need to feed a new OLL AR soon, and I was wondering where you folks currently pay the lowest prices for your surplus 5.56NATO? I'm assuming it's all boxer-primed..my goal is to buy a good stock of the stuff, then reload.

I'm starting with an A1 build (hey, my newest rifle currently is 53 years old...got to ease into the newer stuff), I know that makes a difference but not too up on the specifics yet.

Thanks!
Jason

I get it hot off of my Dillon press! If you're going to reload, find a range, pick up some decent brass and go at it. No need to buy ammo if you have the ability to load it. Do you have reloading equipment yet?

Yeah I have reloading equipment, but don't have .223 dies yet. I reload for all my rifles except my Mosins. There are a lot of reloaders in my area, so going to the range and picking up brass has netted ~20 cases in the 6 months or so since I started picking up .223 brass.

Hence why I'm looking for a source. I will buy some milsurp, shoot that stuff and then I have a good stock of fire-formed brass to reload. Other option is, of course, to buy new .223 brass but I'll get milsurp if the cost difference is justifiable.
