Anyone have experience with National Bullet Co (Ohio)?
I've placed an order with them based on a recomendation on one forum or another, and have not had much luck. I placed an order for 1K 200g SWC (.45) on Jan 6, and am still waiting for shipping status, let alone delivery. My credit card was immediately charged via Paypal, so I'm no sure if I have any recourse.
They responded to my second email inquiry, with a "We had some material supply problems, but should be able to ship your order no later the Monday." response. That was on the 30 Jan, and they have not responded to further emails, or phone messges (apparently they don't ever actually answer the phone).
Anyone have a good experience with these guys that might give me reason for hope?

Good Luck getting your money or goods back from them. They are know for stealing money from us folks: ASAP cancel the order and get your money back if you can.:

If you want more sources, I have plenty that will back me up on this one.
If and when I go through that town, I will be sure to take a pit stop.
ADD ON: Since you payed via CC, call your CC company and issue a fraud alert on them.

yep you just got ripped off. There are people waiting for orders from them from 2006. on almost every gun forum there is a link to all the people who got ripped off.

you paid through credit card. you need to file a claim quickly. most of the people who have filed credit card claims have been able to get there money back.

If it was via paypal, then you can easily file a claim and get your money back.

I bought from them in 1996 and everything was just as advertised.
With the cost of shipping, I just bought from Western Nevada at local gun shows after that.
Now I buy from a local guy that I shoot with.

I feel like a dumb s*&t after reading all the complaints on the firingline.com site. I can't believe that I didn't check things out better. at myself. There's a lesson to be learned here. Use the search engine.
I filed a claim with Paypal this morning, and a consumer complaint with the state of Ohio Attorney General. Will see if either of them is of any help. I thought I would give them a few days to react, and then call Visa and dispute the charge with them. Time will tell.

Give them no more time than already given. Always double check references first before ordering from any website. even if it's a mod. recommend. The internet is the good bad and ugly.

I got the following update from PayPal today. I immediately filed a claim with my CC company, but I have this sinking feeling that I may be screwed.
" After careful review, we have concluded our investigation of the Buyer
Complaint described below.
We have decided in your favor, however, we were unable to recover any funds from the seller's account. As stated in the PayPal User Agreement, recovery of funds associated with a Buyer Complaint cannot be guaranteed.
Please know that we will make our best effort to recover the funds in
question if they become available in the seller's account in the future and
will take appropriate action against the seller. Such action may include
issuing a warning, a temporary restriction, or terminating the account.
Keep in mind that PayPal uses a number of factors to determine when to take
action, including member complaints. Due to privacy laws, we cannot discuss
the details of any action taken. We hope you understand our policy and that
it assures you that you are safe using PayPal. "

if you filed a claim with your cc company, you will get the funds back into your account! i guarantee it! if you order something and dont get it. visa/master card corp protects you against this, and always gives your money back! remember, your cc company is always on your side, you are their client, they will do anything to make you happy. they dont give a rats ars about the other guys or paypal.
