wife's cat peed all over the carry case I used for my Marlin 30-30...arggggh

the smell soaked in, can't seem to get it out, wanna just buy another one...the one I had wasn't a true Marlin case anyway, it was about 8" inches too long...if I have to replace it, might as well get one that has a better fit

thx

I bought one on ebay that is for a scoped Marlin 336, the price was very good.

I don't use Cabela's much, but this heavy canvas case has a beefy zipper and leather trim, for a reasonable price.

It is on sale. Measure your rifle.

If you want to try and keep it, spray a mixture of vinegar and hydrogen peroxide on in and let it soak in real good. Then, sprinkle a light coat of baking soda on the area and let it sit overnight. Remove excess soda, toss it in the wash and it should be GTG.

I just use the cheap Allen cases they sell at Big 5 and WalMart. I don't store my rifles in soft cases since it can soak up the oil and potentially cause corrosion in more coastal/humid environments, so I only use them for transportation purposes.

I carry my Marlin in a 40" one of these. You can't beat it for $30, and in the off days I don't carry my Marlin in it, it does great for my AR too!
