Would like a lever gun but don't need an antique.
What's your experience with Henry? Thinking about a Big Boy in .357 or a 30-30...

I have a Henry Golden Boy .22. Very smooth, excellent trigger very accurate. Love it. Customer service is one of the best. Had a problem after 10 years with the gold coloring getting cloudy. One phone call, new breach cover sent no questions asked. Did not want pics or old part back.
Get it, you won't be disappointed?

I'm almost ready to pull the trigger for a Henry Big Boy. I have 2 Marlins, a 444 and a 30-30, and I'd like to get another one, but I haven't seen a new 357 on sale anywhere for at least 3 months. Does Marlin still make them?

Made in the USA and well made. I picked up a Big Boy .357 after shooting my friend's. Beautiful to look at and a pleasure to shoot. They are very popular and sell fast.

I have a Big Boy in .357. I love it, but they are not light with that 20" octagonal barrel. I'd never sell it though either.

Henry is stepping it up as well. I'd like to get one of these in .357 or .44 mag if and when...."if" they make one and "when" the price is dropped in half

They still make the 1894 in .357. Remington has had some trouble with quality since they bought Marlin, but they seem to be doing better after they trimmed the product line down a bit.

Got a "back in stock email" today from a dealer in Texas for a 357 Big Boy at a good price and bought it! It shipped today and will be at my FFL next week. I'm very excited!
