I converted my wife.. She was one of those people that grew up in an environment where "guns were bad". She didn't like that I had them, and she didn't want to shoot them....not even a pellet gun.
So, I worked in baby steps...
First, I bought her a Sig Mosquito with the pink frame...now...my wife likes the color pink, she likes it a lot..... She couldn't resist a pink gun!! Next thing you know, we are at the range and she keeps saying "I want to shoot the pink one"!
Fast forward about a year, she has fired several different guns since, and she even talked me into buying her a Henry H0001...she really had to twist my wrist on that one :D:D
So for Christmas, I took an old 10/22 receiver and bought a few parts (mainly factory, barrel, stock, etc) and put together her very own 10/22 with a matching Benchmade 9100 Auto Stryker!
With the help of Cerakote By Anthony (https://www.facebook.com/CerakoteByAnthony), I made this...

:)
This one actually shows the color a little better....

It actually looks great.
The two tone really breaks it up and look better than the all pink ones I've seen.
Great job!

Very nice. Was that happening the day we met by there? Or was he doing another one for you? Regards,

That looks great. I showed it to my 4 year old daughter & she asked if she could have it when she's old enough!
Very nice.

He was doing some finishing touches and also doing a little work on my next project. I'm not sure if it will be publicly unveiled though. Might see it out at the range at some point though...

Very nice.
It was super easy and inexpensive. PM me if you want details to make one!!
I plan to do a "man" version for myself, but I haven't completely decided on color schemes.
Thanks for the feedback (everyone)! I'm glad it turned out the way it did!

i've been debating a pink 10/22 for my daughter. she's only 6 months old so i have some time to debate. i didn't really want a hot pink hogue stock in my safe, never thought of just using pink accents. thanks for the idea.

No problem!
I re-did this one a few times before I settled on a good "balance" of pink/black

Nice work employing patience and gentle persuasion to create a range buddy. We can all take away a lesson from you. Great gun and results!
