For a box of 20?
Is that pretty good?

Man...last time I stocked up on Remington UMC, I got it for $6.40/box from Natchez, $7.00/box with shipping. I can't believe it's $8 + tax at Wallymart.

I just ordered a 1K round case of Prvi Partisan M193 from AIM for $330 shipped. I think it's a much better deal.

Sounds a little expensive to me. but not unreasonable. You can still get 1000 rnds for $320 from Weidner's and $325 from AIM.

I, personally, thinks that Remington UMC is a BETTER ammo than PP M193.

Also, Remington UMC is 223 Remington while PP M193 is 5.56 NATO. IF you have a Remington 223 chambered rifle, it is NOT SAFE (according to SAMMI standard etc... ) to run a 5.56 NATO rounds in 223REM. (it *may* cuz over pressure)

Shooters with rifles stamped .223 should check with their manufacturer. Mine is stamped .223 and it shoots 5.56 ammo no problem, with blessings from Ruger.

The caliber is the same between the two chamnbers. The throat and leade are not.

Well, I have a Stag AR chambered in 5.56, so shooting mil-spec ammo shouldn't be a problem. I probably will not be able to share my experiences with Prvi as I will most likely just keep it in a sealed case along with the rest of my cache. I still have plenty of Remington UMC and PMC bronze to shoot through :)
