you can go buy as many as you please since they are parts kits and don't have the receiver. It really doesn't matter if they have light or heavy surface rust on them, I have know people who were overseas and found cache's of AK's that the bolts were rusted shut. They just hit the bolt w/ a rubber mallet and lubed the sucker up and fire just fine, so this would be the perfect parts kit if just have them sand blasted, through a good receiver on it and you could have it parkerized and through on some new furniture like K-Var or Tapco and you'd have great rifle

Pre-1896 Enfield Martini rifles too, no ffl needed! Shame it's pretty pricy at $250...

I've bough rusty items from Centerfire before and I can tell you that they tend to understate how bad things are.

I bought some rusty kits from another distributer who has alot better reputation than Centerfire when it comes to accurate descriptions of condition, my kits were pretty bad with a rusted away buttplate, collapsed diconnector springs, fused gas tube latch, deep pitting on the RSB and top cover, terrible wood, and the last 3 inches of barrel at the muzzle end was toast (chrome lining can only do so much).

Rusty kits are usually good for one thing,....Pistol builds, these would be good candidates due to price and the bubba factor being substantially lower due to current condition.

if its only 10$ less than normal price, why get the rusty ones?

$20 actually, and also according to Arfcom the kits aren't even with Centerfire yet. It's basically a preorder, they won't have them until next week or two. Very misleading...
