Another weasel politician looking for points from a BS buyback. I'll bet $100 that he turns in a cheapie POS or one that he obtained for this event.
You think this is the only firearm he owns??? PALEEEZ!!
Can you say MEDIA STUNT??

He'd have to give it up anyways once the feds get done with him. Is he taking the money for it?

I seem to remember his carry permit was for a Beretta. Anyone know for sure what he's permitted for?
Bet he turns in an old .38 revolver.

These turn ins are so much BS a few years back the San Mateo Sheriff had a turn in. A friend of mine was a deputy there at that time and worked the turn in table. They had such a bad turn out that my friend was told to go to the property room and bring up some eviel looking black guns. When they had the table full the news media took pictures

I don't even know what this is about, but it seemed like the perfect time to post this picture.... I think he'll turn in one of these:

Better for him to turn it now than have the media say that his weapon was confiscated because he is a felon later

Perata does not have a CCW anymore. He's even said so himself.
If he turns in an old POS, someone ought to run an investigation on it....like, how did he take possession in conformance with CA law? Was it registered to him? When?
