Well, actually, we got to know you better than we'd like. Looks like term-limits "reform" did not pass (Prop. 93: http://www.sfgate.com/careturns/), so it's "Adios" to the Don. :cheers2: That "giant sucking sound" is Don's power escaping his grasp. When does he officially become a lame duck? And what's the latest re the FBI investigation into his dealings?

"Don't forget to shut the door on your way out, Don." :seeya:

Trust me, we haven't seen the end of that fat B*****d! The wicked witch of the west, becomes the wicked witch of the east, then of the north, then the south, you get the idea. There are lots of public T*T's left out there for him to suck on. I will believe in his demise when the jail door slams shut.

It is good news though that Prop. 93 went down. There are a lot of them that will get booted soon. I can't believe that traiter Arnie backed it though. I guess he thought Perata/Nunez were going to hand him that Healthcare insurance package in return for it.

I'm certain he will attach his blood sucking proboscus to some aspect of politics or public service and continue to drain the golden state of it's lifeblood and infect it with his filth at the same time.

He'll probably become a lobbyist.

When Ron Dellums gets done with them, the citizens of Oakland will probably be happy to elect him mayor.

Don't forget the Socialist reconquista Nunez. There's also "One Bill" Gil Cedillo and a host of other gun hating, tax loving socialists. Ain't term limits great?

Unfortunately, a few good pro-gun conservatives are also termed out.

Shane916, Proposition 93 failed, which would have actually extended the terms of some very "popular" politicians. In the case of this thread, Sen. Perata has been termed out and will be gone after this year. He is also under investigation for a variety of corruption issues (search can fill you in on the specifics).
