I came across this link over on russian-mosin-nagant.com. Frightening stuff!

Sorry if this is a repost.

I don't remember seeing anything about this so I don't think its a re post.

I now wonder if this has anything to do with K Mart no longer selling ammo what so ever.

Ill check my local Walmart as in the past they have had ammo on the shelves but maybe not anymore.

The odd part is that the CA Legislation has been gutted and amended to be on a different topic.

From their website

"When a potential criminal purchases a box of 9mm cartridges, the box of ammunition and the bullets’ coding numbers would be connected to the purchaser in a statewide database. When a bullet is found at a crime scene, the code on the bullet can be read with a simple magnifying glass and then be run through a statewide database to determine who purchased the ammunition and where"

A "potential criminal"? What's that, anyone who owns a gun & buys ammo?

A simple magnifying glass? They've never seen what can happen to bullets that hit hard surfaces or bone...
