Thought I would share my new addition to blades,
the Cold Steel Gurkha Kukri (loud trumpets playing)
I already knew there was something special about this blade, now that i have handled it I can tell you if you are a lover of fighting blades this is a must have, quality fit & finish is superb,
in terms of balance and ergonomics it shines, truly an extension of your arm,
think I'm gonna try Perfect Edge Sharpening to put an edge on this, a traveling mobile sharpening service that operates up and down the state,
the tacticool sheath actually is well made with a good fit, most of the time you have to tweak these plastic sheaths to adjust the grip on the blade so it does not fall out, Cold Steel did a good job on this which makes these types of sheaths very useful,
I was pleasantly suprised how well the blade/sheath fits in an OBI, and despite its large size it is not cumbersome to wear on a belt,
this is a thick but contoured business blade,
with enough weight for powerful strokes yet not too heavy to be unwieldy,
I consider myself very frugal on spending $$ on blades, though I scrounged around for this one at $162 I would have paid $300 once I handled it-some beattches cost more but are well worth the price;)

The cold steel annual parking lot sale is coming up.
Cool place to score some cosmetic seconds.
