There is a cute little bayonet that mounts to any North American Arms .22 revolver available on Ebay. More a curiosity than anything. It attaches to the take down pin. Is this legal in California? Blade is only two inches long.

Hahahaha! That is funny!

I can't speak for its legality in kommiefornia, but if its legal,
for $9 + shipping, what the hell, go for it.

NAA 22 has a cult-like following with miniature accessories. Check out the laser for it (http://www.laserlyte.com/products/naa-1)...

It's not about usability, but about novelty. It's a fun revolver, especially when put side-by-side with the 14" S&W 460.

As for the blade, the typical threshold for fixed blades (not folders) is around 2". At that point all sorts of local ordinances can kick in. Just remember that this is a "rule of thumb" and you have to be aware of any local law.

Shipping is free. I don't know of any law against bayos in CA except for the normal laws regarding fixed blade knives.

BTW, for $8.90, I just ordered one for *****s and giggles.

It says on the packaging that they will not ship to MA or CA. Maybe because it has a double edge? The Ebay seller has no problem shipping it to you. Yes, IVC, it is just a novelty. I emailed NAA to ask about my .22LR (shortest barrel) revolver key holing bullets after 7 feet. They told me this is normal for this gun. Not exactly dependable accuracy. Maybe the bayonet becomes more relevant if you can't hit what you aim at.

Cool. An olive spear you can mount on a gun

Fixed blade cannot be carried concealed, firearm cannot be carried openly. I forget whether a LTC also exempts bladed weapons, or only those firearms listed on the permit?

Otherwise totally legal anywhere a 2" fixed blade knife and separate firearm would be legal (read: no gov't buildings, schools, etc.)

CA doesn't regulate bayonets specifically. This would fall under the definition of a fixed blade knife as well. Find any post by Librarian (should be easy) and click the Knife Laws link in his signature for all the knife law details.

Got mine too. Nice workmanship for sub $10 retail. Now I just have to decide which gun I'm going to mount it on.

Hopefully if I ever shoot a rattler with mine, I won't need to follow up with a snake stabbing! :D

Well crap. More stuff I don't need. I had to order one for my little NAA just because the little gun is a hoot, and this just makes it hootier. It will look even more menacing along side the Magnum Research BFR I have. Kinda the barky Chihuahua and Mastiff deal.
